Reviews of the Best Eucalyptus Sheets for 2022

Below are my reviews of the Best Eucalyptus Sheets I found in 2022.

Sweave Eucalyptus Tencel Lyocell Sheets

I am so excited to be reviewing these sheets by Sweave! Eucalyptus sheets are one of my favorite sheets to sleep on. I love the smell of eucalyptus and found adding a few drops of essence to the dryer helps me wind down after a long day with the kids. I also have allergies and found the Sweave Eucalyptus sheets didn’t cause any reactions to my skin.

I’ve tried other eucalyptus sheets before, and there were some issues with them being too slippery to really sleep on comfortably, as well as the sheets wearing out quickly. The Sweave sheets are the total opposite of that experience. They aren’t slippery at all, and feel so soft! In fact, they feel almost velvety to me.

I love how crisp the sheets are as well. A lot of times, eucalyptus sheets can get worn out after washing a few times, but these have maintained their crispness since I’ve owned them. Plus Sweave provides a Lifetime Warranty if purchased directly from Sweavebedding.com.

They are very well made. I’ve had mine for over three months now and they look as good as new. There were a few loose strings when it arrived though, but that’s to be expected with any new sheets.

Below are the features I loved:

  • Naturally hypoallergenic (they don’t flare up allergies)
  • Sweave Eucalyptus Sheets have a Lifetime Guarantee, which is great!
  • Naturally wrinkle-free (they don’t need ironing)
  • Naturally moisture-wicking (dry faster than most sheets and won’t cause night sweats)
  • Breathable weave (for maximum temperature regulation while you sleep)
  • Fabric Blend: 78% Eucalyptus Tencel Lyocell / 22% Extra-Long Staple Egyptian Cotton

Sheets & Giggles Eucalyptus Sheets

I recently purchased a set of Eucalyptus sheets from Sheets & Giggles to test out how soft these sheets really are compared to other sheets that I own.

To start, the Sheets & Giggles eucalyptus sheets are all-natural, chemical-free, and feel smooth on the skin. They didn’t flare up any of my allergies like some cotton sheets do.

The company specializes in manufacturing sheets made with eucalyptus lyocell and emphasizes being environmentally friendly.

Sheets & Giggles not only offers the best eucalyptus sheets on market, but they also make a difference by planting trees for every order and offering 10% discounts when customers donate gently used bedding. You can sleep better knowing that your purchase will help others too!

What I loved:

  • Naturally hypoallergenic (they don’t flare up allergies)
  • Softer than cotton
  • Sustainable and Eco-friendly!
  • Deep pockets fit mattresses up to 20″
  • The flat sheet is 4″ longer than average

Sijo Austrian Eucalyptus Tencel Sheets

I am absolutely obsessed with Eucalyptus Lyocell sheets and I wanted to share my experience with these by Sijo. I found them to be extremely soft, durable, easy to wash, breathable, eco-friendly, and cooling during warmer months.

They are made with 100% Eucalyptus Lyocell from Austria. Sijo sheets are Oeko-Tex certified and free from bleach or dye. Which gives you a very limited choice in available colors.

I’m not a sheet snob, but I’ve found the Sijo eucalyptus sheets not to be as soft as the previous Tencel sheets I’ve tried. And I’ve tried many.

I’ve washed them about 5 X already and they come out of the dryer looking as good as new. They don’t ball up in the dryer like cotton does (so annoying!).

Finally, I noticed the Sijo eucalyptus sheets are lighter than others as well. So, for extra warmth, I would layer them with a cotton blanket during cooler nights. However, I think they would be perfect for Hot Sleepers that prefer to sleep cooler at night.

My favorite features:

  • Quick Drying
  • Available in 8 Colors
  • Very Soft and Cool to Sleep on
  • Free from Bleach and Dyes

How is Eucalyptus Fabric Made?

Eucalyptus fabric is made with either 100% Tencel lyocell or blended with other fabrics.

Tencel lyocell is made from the wood pulp of Eucalyptus trees, which are grown on plantations.

It takes about three liters of water to produce one kilogram (or two pounds) of lyocell and a typical plantation covers between 100 acres and 300 acres. These plantations not only provide an eco-friendly lyocell, but also provide a habitat for wildlife.

Tencel lyocell is soft and silky to the touch because it’s made of lignin (a natural substance found in wood) instead of cotton fibers or polyester which are used in traditional fabrics.

It has a luxurious texture without stretching out, making it a good fit for sheets.

Tencel lyocell is also less likely to pill or shrink than cotton and can be washed in hot water without shrinking, fading, or losing its softness — a huge benefit considering how often you wash your bed linens!

Unfortunately, there are some brands that will sell lyocell blended with polyester which is not eco-friendly.

Look for lyocell that’s made of 100% Tencel lyocell and you’ll be contributing to a more sustainable fabric industry!
