Make your bedroom a sanctuary for sleep. Get rid of all the distractions. Do not watch TV in bed. Be sure it is really dark in the room. Don’t have some kind of fancy alarm clock that has a bright display that flashes during the night.
Try and keep your bedroom cool. Your body needs to cool down before it can sleep. You may want to get a little fan to drown out all other noises that can be heard in the room.
