Cariloha makes these sheets with 100% bamboo viscose which makes them a bit heavier than others. In fact these were the heaviest bamboo sheets in our review. At the same time, sheets made with 100% bamboo viscose also benefit from all the great features of bamboo fabrics. Even with the added weight, they are still very cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter.
We’ve tested both the King & Queen size bamboo sheets in our review and they both were extremely well made. They come in a popular sateen finish which adds to their luxurious feel. Sleeping on these luxurious bamboo sheets was like sleeping on silk or cashmere. You’ll know what I mean if you decide to try them out yourself.
In regards to softness, the Cariloha Resort sheets score a perfect 10! I’ve tried 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets before and these beat them in many ways, including softness.

I’ve owned and love my bamboo sheets and have found some useful methods to care for them. Here are 4 Easy-to-Follow care tips to help extend the life of your Cariloha Resort sheets.
- Wash Separately: The Resort bamboo sheets are not cheap and you should care for them accordingly. Zippers, buttons and other metals can damage them during washing. To avoid this, wash them separately using a gentle cycle.
- Cold Water Only: Unlinke cotton fabrics, bamboo sheets won’t shrink in hot water. However, washing them in hot water will cause the cotton threads to expand and contract. This will cause these treads to become loose and the sheets to fall apart.
- Ironing Wrinkles: Bamboo sheets have the tendency to wrinkle after removing from the washing machine. There are 2 ways to deal with wrinkles in the Resort sheets. The first method is to put them on your bed straight from the machine. The second method is to iron them using the lowest heat setting.
- Detergent Type: Finally, since the Resort sheets are made from 100% bamboo viscose, you won’t need to use harsh chemicals to treat stains. You should find a gentle laundry detergent that doesn’t contain chlorines or harsh chemicals.
